Volunteers needed for accelerated build

Evansville, Indiana (May 18, 2009) – Habitat for Humanity of Evansville is seeking volunteers to help build two homes during a two-week period beginning June 6. The homes will be built in the New Haven subdivision, corner of Green River and Fickas roads.

Two shifts are available, from 7 to 11 a.m. and from noon to 3 p.m. No experience is necessary, only a willingness to help families become homeowners. Volunteers will be needed every day except Sundays from June 6 to June 20.

If interested, please read our safety and waiver policy and then register by clicking the "Volunteer Now" button. When you are prompted to select the build you are affiliated with, please select "Accelerated Build." You will then see all the dates and times available. You may volunteer as little or as much as you want.

Thank you for your interest. If you have any questions, please call Lydia Johnson, community relations director, at (812) 423-5623, ext. 21.
