Regional Neighborhood Network Conference

The City of Evansville is hosting the 2017 Regional Neighborhood Network Conference (RNNC)!  Workshops are offered all day Friday and Saturday morning, Oct. 6th & 7th – and Habitat for Humanity of Evansville wants to support and encourage current and future Habitat homeowners who are interested in making a difference in their neighborhood by providing grants covering the $100 registration fee.

This inspiring event is hosted each year by one of 20+ Midwestern cities. It features a wide variety of workshops about state of the art approaches to neighborhood improvement, presentations by experts and leaders in urban and neighborhood development, and lots of fun, food, and entertainment.

As a current or future Habitat homeowner, you already know that “No matter where you work or play, your neighborhood is the cornerstone of your existence. If you aren’t happy where you live, it’s going to affect every other area of your life! “

Here’s a link to the workshops webpage. Take a peek to see what interests you. If you are willing to commit to attend at least three (3) of the workshops, contact Donna Milam no later than August 11th to learn details. She can be reached at (812) 423-5623, ext. 36, or at dmilam@evansvillehabitat.org. Your registration will also entitle you to participation in all conference events. The complete agenda is here, but note that you are not required to attend all activities.
