House Sponsors

Habitat for Humanity of Evansville is happy to provide an opportunity for your organization to help hardworking families become home buyers and to eliminate poverty housing in Vanderburgh and Posey counties, Ind. Since 1984, more than 120 congregations and faith-based groups, individuals, businesses, foundations, and civic organizations have helped more than 400 families locally.

A 2012 study on Habitat for Humanity's brand value suggested the net present value of future brand earnings was equal to Starbucks — $1.8 billion. The drivers of this branding include Habitat’s brand heritage, local impact, spiritual motivation and tangible result.

Companies, in particular, appreciate the numerous marketing opportunities that come with a Habitat partnership. Our staff will work with you to create a personalized sponsorship opportunity which willsupport the needs of partner families as they move toward the dream of homeownership.

House Sponsorship

House sponsors participate on a variety of financial levels and may provide volunteers to participate in building the home under the supervision of our trained regular volunteer crews and Habitat construction managers. Sub-contractors provide professional services for electrical, plumbing, HVAC and drywall installation.

Habitat partner families work alongside the sponsor volunteers building the home. Working together, partner families and sponsors develop a positive relationship, gaining a greater understanding about the need for affordable housing and the ability to transform lives and communities.
