Habitat for Humanity of Evansville is partnering with TerraCycle to make our community a better place to live!
Habitat for Humanity of Evansville is currently collecting previously non-recyclable or hard to recycle waste. For each piece of garbage that you are able to recycle through Habitat, TerraCycle will provide a donation that will go directly to our mission of providing homes, communities and hope.
Habitat is currently collecting the following items:
Dairy Tubs: Yogurt tubs and lids, Sour cream tubs and lids, Cheese tubs and lids, Cream cheese tubs and lids, Butter and margarine tubs and lids, Plastic ice cream tubs and lids, Whipped topping tubs and lids, Pudding tubs and lids, Foil tops and plastic seals.
Energy Bar Wrappers: Foil-lined energy bar wrappers, Foil-lined granola bar wrappers, Foil-lined meal replacement bar wrappers, Foil-lined protein bar wrappers, Foil-lined diet bar wrappers, Clif Bar wrappers from Clif SHOT, Clif Twisted Fruit, Clif Roks, Clif Bloks, and Clif Gels, All LÄRABAR foil-lined bar wrappers, All Cascadian Farm foil-lined bar wrappers
Hot Cereal Packaging: Any brand of hot cereal packaging (Oatmeal, Cream of Wheat pouches)
The TerraCycle project is a great opportunity for schools, church groups and even businesses to give back to Habitat and help the environment at the same time. You may bring your collected recyclables to the Habitat Office on specified drop off dates listed below.
Ready to donate? You can drop off your items during regular business hours: Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at 1401 N. Fares Avenue.
