About Women Build

Habitat’s National Women Build program recruits, educates and inspires women to build and advocate for simple, decent and affordable houses in their communities.

In 2014, Habitat dedicated its seventh Women Build home to Tanika Stewart and her two daughters. We thank all those that donated and helped build this house!

In 2015, National Women Build Week was celebrated by kicking off construction on the home of Lacey Moss. Even through the rain, a good time was had by all. We thank everyone who came out! View more photos of the event here

We will have more opportunities to build after the 2016 Women Build-sponsored house is kicked off -- but we need your help fundraising first. Help the next home built by women for a family in need of decent, affordable housing by donating toward the cost of construction. Because of your generosity, mortgages are kept at an affordable rate for the family to purchase and thrive in the stable home. Give today.
