Chili Cookoff

The Mt. Vernon Ministerial Association is hosting a chili cookoff to benefit Habitat. Enjoy some delicious chili and help local families have a safe place to call home! All proceeds from the event will go toward building more Habitat homes in Posey County!

Purchase Tickets

Tickets will be sold at the door that evening and every dollar from those tickets will go directly toward helping more families have a safe and affordable home in Posey County. With your ticket, you will get a Chicago-style hotdog, drink, dessert and a sampling of every chili.

Adults - $15
Children (12 and under) - $5

Register to Make Chili

Do you have the best chili recipe around? We need people to sign up to make chili at our chili cookoff. Bring the heat and help us build more Habitat homes in Posey County!

There is no cost to register your chili for the event and we will have special prizes for uniqueness, heat, flavor and an overall grand champion. You will need to bring your own table and supplies, and you will need to make at least 2 gallons of chili.
