Description: Volunteers are an essential element to build houses. We have skilled volunteers on site that will lead the build, show you what to do, and how to do it! No construction experience is required.

Requirements:

Youth: No one under the age of 16 is allowed on the construction site. Youth aged 16 and 17 may volunteer but must have a Liability Waiver signed and notarized by their parent/guardian before volunteering.

Online Safety Training: All volunteers must complete an online safety training course before volunteering. Safety training link: http://www.hfhvolunteerinsurance.com/ use code: Use code W8NAEBTG and select the “Volunteering on a Habitat site” training option.

Reports To: Volunteer Workforce Manager

Hours: Saturdays 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (Check the volunteer website for availability.)

Knowledge: No construction knowledge is required. Come ready and willing to learn!

Dress Code: Closed toe shoes (work boots or tennis shoes) and long pants (jeans are preferred) are required. Please do not wear jewelry or loose and baggy clothing. Please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty, ripped, torn or painted.

Description: Have a group of people that want to volunteer at the construction site on the same day? We can reserve a build day for your group to come and work alongside the Core Crew and Partner Families.
