Home #559 | First Federal Savings Bank Build, in memory of Monica Stinchfield

This home will be Habitat’s 559th house built in the Evansville and Mt. Vernon area. The sponsor of this home is First Federal Savings Bank!  Thanks to their generosity, De’Angelo will have an affordable place to call home!

First Federal gave their home sponsorship donation in memory of Monica Stinchfield.  Monica was employed with their bank for 40 years, having served last as the Senior Vice President of the Retail Lending Department.  She passed away on December 1, 2020.  Monica was very involved with the Habitat for Humanity of Evansville, and she served on its Board of Directors for 16 years and as Chair of the Family Selection Committee.

About the House Sponsor:

First Federal Savings Bank is a community bank located with headquarters in Evansville, Indiana.  They were founded in 1904 under the leadership of the company’s first President, George W. Koch.  Since, they have expanded across the tri-state area and even into the northern region of Washington and Petersburg, now offering nine branches.  First Federal’s president, Mike Head, encourages his employees and leadership team to give back to the community.  The Bank offers a Volunteer and Community Involvement Program in which employees are encouraged to volunteer at least four hours per month to be in the running for an award.
