Sponsoring a Habitat home is more than just funding. Companies, individuals, or groups that sponsor a Habitat home form long-lasting bonds with the Habitat homeowner. Habitat future homeowners work alongside the sponsor volunteers building the home. Working together, future homeowners and sponsors develop a positive relationship, gaining a greater understanding of the need for affordable housing, and the ability to transform lives and communities.
House sponsors participate on a variety of financial levels and may provide volunteers to participate in building the home under the supervision of our trained regular volunteer crews and Habitat construction managers. Sub-contractors provide professional services for electrical, plumbing, HVAC and drywall installation.
